Day 1 – PRIŠTINA – DEVIL'S TOWN – NIŠ

 

Arrival of passengers in Priština / Skopje and departure to Niš, hometown of Constantine the Great, founder of Constantinople/Istanbul.

 

Stops in Devil's Town "Serbian world miracle", the unusual phenomenon of nature that consists of two natural phenomena. First one represents soil figures created by soil erosion, while second one are mineral springs which are famous for their high acidity. Sightseeing. Lunch in one of ethno-restaurants.

 

The journey continues to the city of Niš. Accommodation at the hotel. Sightseeing tour.

Dinner. Free time.

 

Day 2 - NIŠ - SJENICA

 

Breakfast.

 

Visit to “Mediana”, an important archeological site from the late Roman period where it is possible to visit remains of the luxurious residence palace of Constantine the Great.

 

The journey continues to the western Serbia. Stopping in Vrnjačka Banja, the pearl of spa tourism in Serbia. Lunch in Vrnjačka Banja.

 

Visit to the monastery of Žiča, erected at the beginning of the thirteenth century in what was crowned 7 Serbian kings. Arrival to the city of Novi Pazar that will offer you experience of Ottoman and Islamic legacy that remains vivid in this part of Balkans. Sightseeing tour through the city. Visit to Arap and Altun-Alem mosques, pearls of Islamic architecture in this part of the Balkans.

 

The journey continues to the town of Sjenica. Arrival and hotel accommodation. Free time.

 

 

Day 3 - SJENICA - UVAC - ZLATIBOR

 

Breakfast.

 

Excursion to the nature park "Uvac", beautiful breathtaking canyon. Sailing on small tourist boats through the canyon, which is the natural habitat of eagles that can be seen along the way.

 

The journey continues towards the mountain Zlatibor, one of the most beautiful mountains in Serbia. Clean air (Zlatibor has a status of air spa), a pleasant mild climate, expansive lawns, lush pastures interspersed with mountain streams and dotted with lush pine trees. Lunch. Free time.

 

Optional - tour to Drvengrad, inspiring ethno- village project of celebrated film director Emir Kusturica /tour to Andrićgrad another project of celebrated director constructed in honor of Nobel Prize laureate Ivo Andrić, the author of the novel "The Bridge on the Drina".

 

Dinner. Free time.

 

Day 4 - ZLATIBOR – NOVI PAZAR - PRIŠTINA

 

Breakfast.

 

Visiting St. Peter's Church in small town Ras near Novi Pazar, one of the oldest churches here (from the 8th century).

 

Lunch in Novi Pazar. Departure to Priština / Skopje.
