VISIT TO MALČA WINE CELLAR

 

 

- welcome reception of guests in Serbian folk costumes with traditional serving of home bread, salt and paprika .

- presentation of Cellar Malča on the video beam in the hall for the reception and seminars, followed by a short film about the amphorae.

- tour of the cellars with wine degustation with cheese, prunes and prosciutto at each of the four wineries;

 

„WINE TIME MACHINE” IN THE CELLAR MALČA:

 

Degustation in “Modern winery” – Italian Riesling, dry white wine - organically cherished in stainless steel tanks with “Svrljig cheese” and with ramsons (wild garlic).

 

Degustation in “Serbian wine house of the twentieth century” – Smuk wine, dry white wine - Italian Riesling nursed in concrete tanks with “Svrljig cheese”.

 

During the degustation recitals of masterpiece Koštana accompanied with live soft music.

 

Degustation in “Nemanjica house” - Zone wine - dry pink wine - aged in wooden barrels where the wine is cherish as they nursed in middle age epoch of Nemanjic dynasty rule.

 

Degustation in “Roman house” - amphorae wine - Constantine the Great dry red wine - Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, cared for in clay amphorae.

 

In Vinoteque you can optionally try our wines and buy wine for yourself or as a gift to someone special.

 

Photographing in Roman clothes

Guests can dress and make photos in Roman clothes, in Roman house or in Roman chariot.

 

Roman lunch / dinner in a restaurant with authentic ambience of a Roman house

With Roman food and wine tasting from different epochs, if it is desired by guests, acoustic sounds of the band can further brighten the evening.

 

The guests are served by waiters dressed as Romans.

 

In the restaurant, welcome reception of guests with the traditional Roman sweet – Recelj (pumpkin in the wine stum).

 

During the lunch, wine from amphorae will be ceremonially candle decanted.

For larger groups it is possible to perform a short Roman dance plays.

 

MUSEUM EXHIBITION

 

On permanent museum exhibition you can visit: stone mill where the miller grinds wheat / room "miller's daughter" / windmill grain / threshing / the wool-carding plant / textile mill / blacksmith shop / Roman chariot and a lot of little details from the life of our ancestors.

 

- Wine Village Malča is spread over 2 acres. Malčanska River runs through it. Alongside the banks of the river there are many well-arranged walking paths, a small lake and the Roman Forum-open stage.

The duration of the tour in Malča cellars is about 1, 5 hour + lunch / dinner time and optional tours.
